Today, let us try changing the stock startup and shutdown animations on our UIQ3 device.

Just copy the files to your phone as instructed in the readme file inside the archive.
Please make sure that you have already hacked your phone to access the folders c:/private and c:/sys/bin.

This mod is tested on w960, w950, m600, p990, p1i smartphones.

Recently I posted about the Flash plugin for you to view those site containing flash contents.
Still remember the hack that I’ve mentioned for you to install the .sis flash file?

Well here it goes…The hack for you to install unsigned applications on UIQ3 phones (P1i, P990i etc). It’s guaranteed to run on P1i Smartphones but I haven’t tested it yet on any other UIQ3 platform but it should run since they’re just siblings in terms of their operating systems.

First thing that you need to do is to download the hack application, which is developed by the way again by SWmail, here.

Now, whenever you try to install an unsigned application, your screen should show you something like this:

Just hit on continue and you’re good to go!
