In an attempt to cut its production costs, Sony just announced their newest breed of PSP, the PSP E-1000. This time, they’ll be removing one most important feature of the portable console – its WiFi.
The new Sony PSP E-1000 features a new design with a matte finish that is much like the PlayStation 3 slim console. Since the portable console won’t be shipped with the WiFi feature, one must connect via Sony’s Media Go software to access the PlayStation Store.
There’s a reason why not to be sad though even if it lacks Wifi as they will be selling it at a much lower cost. It is said that the PSP E100 will land in Europe this fall with only a €99.00 price tag.
