Amazon has released in the last day an application update Kindle for iOS, to version 3.8. The client e-reader introduced some new features and numerous bug fixes, as well as improvements in the overall stability.
Among the new features, we point out what is probably the most important, namely the introduction of the new line spacing options, which allows you to change the layout of the page with three different spacing settings (following the full changelog with the introduced changes).
What’s new in version 3.8:
• Line spacing: You can use the wide interline options, normal and reduced to change the layout of the page so that it fits to your reading preferences
• Highlight multicolors: you can highlight long passages that continue over several pages, for added convenience
• Improved accessibility: You can select even bigger font solving existing problems
• Troubleshooting / Improved stability
Kindle can be downloaded for free from the App Store. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (requires iOS 5.0 or later). Finally, this app is optimized for iPhone 5.
