My wife and I are self-confessed foodies so looking out for interesting dining places is like second nature to us. Since we just moved to our new house near Fairview we began to scout restos in the area. Soon enough I spotted the SOLBgyeopsal Restaurant because we often pass by it. It is located above a car detailing and car wash station so I told my wife that we can check it out when we’re due for a car wash.
The SOLBgyeopsal Restaurant looked very inviting with its instagrammable walls and warm lighting.
It was also not crowded, which is a plus for me, but for those who want a great dining deal then the UNLI promo is perhaps the best thing in this restaurant.
They have an Unlimited Korean BBQ promo that starts at Php249 available from Mon to Thu, 10am to 4pm.
The Php249 promo includes Unlimited Pork, Unlimited Cheese, Unlimited Side Dishes, and free Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew).
Those who like both beef and pork BBQ can try the Php349 promo wherein you get Unlimited Pork and Beef, Unlimited Cheese, Unlimited Side Dishes, and free Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew). Plus a bonus of free steamed egg for every 2 persons.

We ordered the SOLBgyeopsal UNLI beef, pork and cheese promo. This wasn’t our first samgyeopsal so we were a bit puzzled when they served it without any sauce. But after tasting it we decided that it didn’t need any sauce after all. The meat was already very flavorful so all you have to do is enjoy it.
My favourite is the GoChujang beef which is a bit sweet with a kick of spiciness in it. For me this sweet and spicy blend is just perfect. As for my wife, she prefers the flavour of beef bulgogi. When it comes to the pork, I think they’ve hit the right cut, if not the perfect cut for it. It’s not too thin nor too thick and very easy to cook. So far this is my most preferred cut in a pork samgyeopsal.
I heard that their Bibimbamp is also a best seller so we tried it too. It’s available a la carte for only Php229.
I immediately understood why it’s a bestseller after tasting it. It’s flavorful yet not too spicy so you don’t have to sweat it out to finish the dish. Even my wife agrees that it tastes good even if she is not a Bibimbamp fan.
At the end of our meal, we were all #BuSOLB. My wife and I enjoyed everything we ordered and even my daughter Sammy is “solb na solb” with the UNLI cheese, japchae, peanuts, anchovies, and braised baby potatoes. This is definitely not our last time at SOLBgyeopsal.
