Now let’s check out how these MyPhone Android Phones differ from each other and find out if this newly launched MyPhone A898 is better than its predecessor.

Based on the side by side comparison of MyPhone’s A878 and A898 Duo Android Phones, it is safe to conclude that both phones have the same features except for the additional 3G capacity of A898 and its front-facing camera; no wonder there’s an approximate P500.00 difference in their price. But what is a little additional cash for a 3G and front camera features, right?

Anyway, let me just take a short note about MyPhone’s IPS (In-Plane Switching technology) LCD. Although it is not made of Corning Gorilla Glass, the IPS panels have several advantages such that it offer clear images at a stable response time as well as, the display color is the same at all viewing angles. Also, these kinds of LCD’s do not present “tailing” or sort of shadowing when touched during operations. Unlike other types of LCD where the user can see some kind of tailing when operating their touchscreen Android phones.

Moreover, the IPS LCD, which are also used in Apple iPhones, gives better screen resolution (less pixelation) as compared to Nova and Super Amoled Plus displays, thus providing the best text readability experience to the user.

Now, I guess the verdict is clear on which is better when it comes to Android Phone features when every specification has been presented above. Still, the decision to which model to buy, either MyPhone A878 Duo or MyPhone A898 Duo, still lies on the specific needs of the consumer.
