The digital transformation of Coins.ph is in full swing in Makati City as the company continues its on-ground roadshow across key areas of the city. Beginning March 2, the “Coins Squad” has already assisted thousands of residents in upgrading their financial habits through digital solutions, with activities set to continue until March 5.
What’s Happened So Far?
The Coins.ph Squad has successfully mounted pop-up activations at Makati Medical Tower and MRT Ayala Station, where commuters were introduced to QRPH payments and other digital wallet features. These engagements highlighted the convenience of going cashless, particularly for busy individuals navigating the city’s fast-paced environment.

One commuter shared the vibe perfectly: “Yes, gagamitin ko. Especially kapag nagmamadali ako, kaysa pumila pa ako sa station—diretso na para hindi ako maiwanan ng train.” That’s the goal—saving you time and making your money work smarter.
The Prize Pool: You Still Have Time to Get Paid!
New users who onboard during the roadshow period remain eligible for cashback rewards. The program is designed to benefit both experienced crypto users and first-time digital wallet adopters, offering simple missions that provide instant financial incentives.
Remaining Makati Stops (March 2–5)
The Coins Squad continues to visit several barangays across Makati, including:
- Carmona
- Guadalupe Nuevo
- Guadalupe Viejo
- Olympia
- Palanan
- Pinagkaisahan
- Pio del Pilar
- Sta. Cruz
- Tejeros
- Valenzuela
Community members are encouraged to visit the activation hubs to learn more about peer-to-peer transfers, bill payments, mobile load purchases, and remittance services available through the app. The initiative emphasises delivering faster, more accessible, and cost-efficient financial tools for everyday use.

Strengthening Market Leadership
This activation reinforces Coins.ph’s commitment to positioning itself as a leading super app in the Philippines by bridging blockchain innovation with practical, daily financial needs.
“There’s more to Coins.ph than just crypto,” Amira Alawi, Global Marketing Director at Coins.ph iterated. “We aren’t just talking about financial inclusion—we are actively building it. There’s a lot in the pipeline that we’re working on and it starts with being in the trenches talking to users, educating them and having a two way conversation on what we can work on to improve our offerings.”
What’s Next?
Following the Makati leg, the roadshow will expand to other key locations, including Pasig, San Juan, and Cebu City.
As the Makati activation concludes on March 5, residents still have the opportunity to participate, receive cashback rewards, and explore the benefits of a crypto-native mobile wallet that continues to gain traction nationwide.
