LG Philippines recently announced their newest ‘Big Price drop promo‘ along with the roll out of their newest line up to their Optimus Family of Devices; The Optimus Pro, Optimus 3d and Optimus Net.

Just so you can be familiar with their newest Optimus additions, here are some bit of their descriptions and their key specs:

LG Oprimus Pro is LG‘s newest Qwerty/touch phone that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

    Optimus Pro Key Specs:
    3.15 MP Rear Camera @ 2048×1536 pixels
    2.8inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors @ 240 x 320 pixels
150 MB Internal storage, 256 MB RAM. microSD supported, up to 32GB, 2GB included

800 MHz processor, Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset
    Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS)
    SRP: Php10,490

The LG Optimus 3D sports a  dual-core processor just like its Optimus 2x sibling but with latest-gen 3D graphics.

    LG Optimus 3D Key Specs:
Dual 5 MP @ 2592х1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
    4.3inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors @ 480×800

    Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS)

The LG Optimus Net on the other hand promises top notch content-sharing. It was announced as the successor to the Optimus One that recently got the Gingerbread update and sports an 800MHz CPU and an Android 2.3.3 OS build out of the box just like the Optimus Pro

    LG Optimus Net Key Specs:
    3.15 MP @ 2048×1536 pixels
    3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors @ 320 x 480 pixels
150 MB internal storage; 512MB RAM microSD supported up to 32GB, 2GB included
    Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot
800 MHz processor, Qualcomm MSM7227T chipset
    Android 2.3 (Gingerbread OS)
    SRP: Php9,990

One most notable information that is indicated on the recent banner ad that LG just released is the promised Gingerbread update for LG Optimus 2x, Optimus Black and Optimus One. Many Optimus users have been long waiting for the said update and it seems that LG is pretty serious this time about finally releasing the Gingerbread update for such Optimus devices. And at the top of this series of good news, LG is dropping the Optimus Black (Php19,990 to Php17,990) and the Optimus 2x’s (Php27,990 to Php24,990)  prices once again.

Palpak yan. Bumili ako optimus 3D ilang beses na sila nangako sa udate ng gingerbread simula noong november pa. Hanngang ngayon wala parin sa O3D. Di na ko uulit dyan.

Hi Km! It seems that both smartphone handsets (Optimus Net and Optimus One) are sharing the same tech specs. Main advantage of the Optimus Net though is its CPU and the fact that it will be coming out with Gingerbread OS out of the box compared to Optimus One. Optimus Black however is much better (in terms of every aspects) than those two mentioned. Thanks for dropping by Km!
