We’ve seen a lot of great stuff in Google I/O since yesterday but this one by far is my +1!
What is Google +1?
It’s basically the newest tool created by Google allowing Google profile users to endorse or “like” a site or URL just like the Facebook “Like” button.
Search engine giant Google Inc. gave some insights about what Google +1 is at the Google I/O developer conference at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco on Tuesday. This Google +1 button can be embedded into a blog or a website and it comes in 7 different sizes with and without counters.
Google’s development team claimed that the Google +1 button will be officially rolled out in the coming weeks which means last week of May or first week of June to me.
Google +1 might be of use to bloggers and developers who wants to improve their occupancy on the world’s largest search engine.
Cant wait for the release? Google prepared a sign up form for us to be reminded if its already out.

Cool, plus the design looks elegant. Can’t wait for this release. Question though is that will it affect Google rankings… Anyhow, I’m getting this on the first day! Haha! 😀
I think so.. The concept is that instead of trusting a search engine’s algorithm to give you the most relevant search results, you should trust your friends’ preferences thru their +1s, along with the preferences of all other searchers.
