We were recently invited by Blackberry Pilipinas to witness their first ever fan meetup held in Pasay City, Philippines. A pre-selected number Research In Motion‘s Blackberry fans were invited to the said event who met each other and participated on some fun games that Blackberry prepared.
The meetup was headed by RIM’s Head of Digital Marketing, Mr Gerald Ang and hosted by the AXN reality show celebrity, Mr. Rovilson Fernandez.
Several games were enjoyed by everyone and most of them took home prizes such as BlackBerry Leather Pouches, BlackBerry Torch smartphones, and a BlackBerry PlayBook as the night’s grand prize.

The event also served a way for the Blackberry Pilipinas to officially introduce their brand’s flagship tablet PC here in the Philippines, the Blackberry Playbook.
With the tagline “Work smarter. Play harder”,Blackberry describes the Blackberry Playbook as a Tablet PC device which “helps transform the way you work and play by combining the features you need with a powerful, ultra-portable design you want”.
