Here’s one good news to iOS users to kickoff their first week of the month.
We heard news last June about the possible release of the official Skype for iPad and one muted video was also leaked showing the Skype version for iOS. And now here it is, and its already available for download on the iOS app store.
The Skype for iPad app is capable of live video service to both 3G and Wi-Fi data connections and is compatible to both iPad and iPad 2. Skype for iPad app features video chat, instant messaging, phone calls and quick access to your contacts and unlike the unofficial Skype iPad app that iOS users have been using for ages, its instant messaging can be used even if you’re on video call!
Want more? This official Skype for iPad app is capable of calling any Skype users whether if they’re on their PC or on a compatible iOS device.
Considering that this is the first build of its version, I hope that other feature could be added to it in the future revisions like the ability to get in touch with people using Android Devices. What other features you’d like to see added in this app?
