At long last, LG Optimus Black finally sees Android 2.3 Gingerbread update! Optimus Black users might have thought that this is uber later than late as most smartphone devices nowadays are already preparing to be upgraded to Ice Cream sandwich but nevertheless, users from India and some areas in Europe are already enjoying the latest update.
That being said, Optimus Black users from other countries should expect the update in the coming days.
Report says that the updated Optimus Black units are upgraded to Android 2.3.4 which is a little bit too off the trend as current Gingerbread phones are now running on version 2.3.7.
In the meantime, LG recently spoke about its planned Optimus Black’s Ice Cream Sandwich update so many believed that the Gingerbread upgrade for this device doesn’t make any sense and pretty useless.
While searching for some motor home repair this morning, I heard that users can now push the update by using LG’s software update tool but I cannot really vouch for it. If in case any of you can push the update just right about now, then just let us know.
