    Stop User Account Control (UAC)

User Account Control  (UAC) prompt usually occurs when you are trying to access or run an application. It is not obviously an error as it is only asking if you are allowing the application to proceed.

Microsoft didn’t create it for nothing. Primarily, User Account Control (UAC) has something to do with the security for your desktop. If you feel though that you are confident with taking control of security, and if you’re like me who is very annoyed every time it pops up, then just do this:

    • Open the Start Menu and select Control Panel
    • Select User Accounts
    • Select Turn User Account Control on or off
    • Uncheck the box next to “Use User Account
      Control (UAC)…” and press OK

    That easy.

You will then be asked to restart your computer to apply changes you’ve just made. After restarting, you can now say goodbye to those UAC prompts. To reverse its effect, just repeat the process.
